The Time and Again Store....

I went to visit my mom and dad today to find that they have decorated for Christmas! I thought this was such a pretty shot.....red, green and white........

This afternoon was bright and sunny and my mom and I took a short trip of about 5 minutes from her house to my favorite little store called Time and Again. It's located on Route 19 in Mercer County about 15 minutes from Mercer, Pa; a little over an hour from Pittsburgh or Youngstown, Ohio and about an hour and a half from Erie, Pa.

Time and Again is a treasure trove of vintage, new and re-purposed items. Hazel (the owner) has the items beautifully displayed in eyecandy vignettes. Right now the place is decked out for Christmas. Hazel has everything from a huge variety of vintage table cloths to napkins to delicate hankies. The eclectic variety of glassware, tins and containers are my favorite things to go through. There is also a fantastic array of old tables and chairs (all in great shape) to purchase as well. Outside on the porch you will find weather pieces of shelving, fireplace fronts and mantels, wooden gates and chairs to purchase. Hazel has the biggest collection of vintage table cloths! They are reasonably priced too.See those transfer wear plates on the second shelf? My mom and I bought them, there were 7 big plates and 4 little ones. We split them, she's going to put hers in her plate rack and I'm going to put 2 on my mantle.There's my mum giving me a dirty look.......she wasn't expecting to have her picture taken! Ha! Gottcha Nanny!

Here's a close up of the plates we bought. Pretty are they not? I like the winter scene on the big plate. They were made in England.

How about his wreath? It's huge and gorgeous with the hydrangeas and silver.......it's only $24
