Ahhhhh, summertime! Even though it was so cold that I had to turn up the heat yesterday, I'm feeling summery today! I've been creating summertime pieces of jewelry.........
leather heart with mother of pearl dangle......
Karma........when I say the word, I think of the color green! Leather with glass and stone chip necklace.........
Leather distressed heart with bubble dangling charm on handmade batik fabric cording........
Ok, that's enough "summer" for one day, there's plenty more to come............

If you'd like to wear one of these little fairy door necklaces, please visit my jewelry blog:

Such is the idea for the fabric cording!

I originally had two lavender glass flower charms on each side of the spoon but they kept falling in front of the spoon and obscuring the collage, so I took them off and drilled a hole in the bottom of the spoon (love my drill press). I like this set up much better. I'm going to have a class on how to make these coming up soon in March or April. I just have get more spoons for the class!
This is my newest creation.......a cuff bracelet made of material with a snap closure embellished with lace, fibers, glass beads, and antique buttons. I really like the unusual shape of the shell button.
How about that antique button that looks like a diamond? I got it with 6 others at an antique show.

These ones have a retro feel. There's just something about those 50s and 60s Christmas illustrations that I love. You just don't get the same look in present day Christmas illustration.
